In 2022, in a shophouse on the bustling streets of Singapore, a story began to unfold. A group of beauty experts were brought together, each bringing a wealth, not to mention years, of experience from the beauty and well-being industry.

One of them had worked in Finance for a global makeup brand, another was former management consultant, with leadership experience from the beauty industry. One was a leading marketing professional, and another one was a brand and design
expert, focused on beautiful packaging. Their backgrounds, though diverse, also had one more thing in common: a desire to create something new, a contemporary
brand for beauty and well-being with a focus on sustainability and nature.

From the Dot was born out of love for beauty and a desire to give back to the city that had offered them so much. The name itself was an homage to the tropical island, the dot that connected them both to each other and to the city’s diverse cultures and experiences.
